I bought this for my new iriver 20GB mp3 player as it seemed to be a good and cheap way to play 10000 songs on the radio.
Firstly there are 4 preset frequencies on the set. 88.1 88.3 88.5 and 88.7 on the fm range.
I would check your local radio stations on these frequencies first as they will interfere with the transmission from your player.
Secondly, just driving around N london I have to regularly change channels as radio 2 decides to get stronger in certain places!
Thirdly I have started to notice a high pitch noise in the background that only stops when the transmitter is turned off.

If you want to use this device in the house - its brilliant, but I would advise having a look at the type II which has your own user frequencies.
