5 out of 5 stars A little gem!   June 20, 2008
Mr E. Man (Northampton, UK)
I don't usually write reviews but this product and supplier warrants it. I had done some homework on prices and functionality and this product fitted the bill exactly ... but would the supplier? The answer was a resounding yes on both counts! The product turned up very promptly, was easy to charge up, and very easy to tune in. Personally I found a "quiet band" on my car radio, then tuned the MP3 transmitter manually to that "station" .. bingo .. in business. Street cred with offspring now who blast their MP3's through the radio on the school run.

3 out of 5 stars Almost get's it Right!!   March 17, 2008
Mr. S. A. Manley (Shropshire, UK)
I bought the item hoping to use it in the car and not have to purchase a replacement Car Hifi. At first the item seemed a great idea, but let me down with Sound Quality. There is a permanent hissing noise when using in the car.

Even though they recommend that the volume is turned down on the mp3 device this didn't help, it just meant that I could not hear the Music at all.

A good idea, but could do with improving the quality.

5 out of 5 stars TeckNet FM Transmitter - Great Product   March 10, 2008
David (UK)
The product works great, without any problems. Transmitting is excellent. Reception is excellent with great sound. Very good highs. If one does have problems I would add a FM antenna, straight wire.

I bought this so I could listen to my ipod through my car speakers. Initially I was really pleased with the product, although as others have reviewed, it does produce a high pitch whistle in the background.

After a few months I found the sound would come out of only one speaker or would be muffled. I had to tap the transmitter to get rid of the interference. Thinking this was just a faulty item I went ahead an ordered another. The new transmitter didn't last even half as long as the first and produced the same problems.

I have now bought the iStuff AutoScan FM Transmitter, which I am really pleased with. Very good sound.

Sure it transmits the sound to a fm radio but the quality is so poor you can only hear a muffled unclear sound which crackles a lot. I have tested it on 3 different radios and they all sound rubbish when you try and turn the volume up above a conversation level volume.

Get it if you want a gimmick that works and you dont mind playing the music quietly.
