This product worked perfectly at first, i plugged it in, changed my car's radio station and went, easy as that with almost perfect audio quality. After a while however it has decided hat it will only work whn pressed firmyl into the ipod, which requires the use of a hand, a problem if you are trying to drive! good at first but very poor after that

Are fm transmitters hit or miss? I used this on a 6th generation ipod classic. The star is for the good looks and handy size, otherwise this was a waste of twenty pounds. It does not work in the car and the sound quality using my home stereo is appalling. I have tried many different frequencies along the fm range but all were pretty awful. There are some good reviews on other sites but certainly for me it just didn't cut it. Maybe something more expensive is required.
