Cheap & very very nasty August 24, 2008 F Alvan Corcuera 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Do not buy this item. After 2 days of use it stopped working. As it is a cheap item, returning is not worth it.
Cheap and very nasty August 20, 2008 C. Broatch 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Never before have I left a review on Amazon, but this has made me so furious I feel i have to let others know. OK, so the unit is cheap, but this is awful! I'm not expecting hifi quality, but you'd get better sound quality with a cassette deck from the 70's. I tried connecting with the usb connnection at first, and the results were very poor, so I thought I'd try with the supplied 'audio cable', and it doesn't fit in the stereo jack on the machine. The cable plug is 3.5mm (headphone sized), but the jack is somehow smaller than this, so they aren't compatible. How is that possible? Should I bother returning this? The unit was 2.99 with 4.49 postage. I won't get a refund on the postage, and then I'll also have to pay to send it back. In other words it isn't worth returning, so I'm stuck with it. What a waste of time and money. Amazon, you should be ashamed, this is absolute crap.
Excellent Adapter!!! July 15, 2008 Vanessa Goncalves (VNG , Portugal) I bought this product last week, after reading all the previous reviews and comparing it with other similar devices... I decided to buy it and check it out for myself. The adapter arrived yesterday and I tried on my car. Works beautifully!! It's really great! Small, simple and sharp... I totally recommend it! Excellent value for the money!
The good...and the bad. May 16, 2008 Z. Boult 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this FM transmitter quite a while ago, back in about '04/'05 and I had one of the old style Toyota Yaris, and it worked fine with my Creative Zen Nano, once you struck the balance between MP3 volume and car radio volume it was great, a bit fiddly to change the stations but still perfectly usable...but then I change my car to a NEW Toyota Yaris...and I plugged it all in, switched it on...but the noise coming out of my speakers?! More hiss than a bag of very angry snakes! I tried it on all the frequencies and it was just so bad, I abandoned it and have yet to find another decent one.
The good and the bad January 11, 2008 R. Marsden 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Firstly the good- easy to tune, good clear sound, plays directly from memory sticks as well as mp3 players and, in my car at least, it resumed play from where it had been previously stopped / paused (I had left it plugged into the cigarette lighter). Now the bad- after three days it has completely and utterly stopped working! The play and stop button seem to work (since they trigger and led to flash on my memory stick) but the radio no longer picks up any signal. I hope mine is just a one-off dodgy one as i will be buying another.
