What more do you want? August 20, 2008 I purchased this for my ipod nano 3g. Previously, I had purchased a Griffin Itrip - which was quickly returned to the store. This product pretty much does as it says on the tin and you are not breaking the bank to try it out. Had this in the car and working within seconds. FM Signal much stronger than the Itrip and added benefit of having a continuous charge. Note that, due to battery size of the nano, you will need something that charges as it transmits. Also note, this product comes with several inserts to adjust the holder based onthe size/shape of your ipod. This has an insert for a nano 2g but not a 3g. However, still works and as nano is so light, this is not really an issue at present.
Great Gadget August 1, 2008 I bought this item from Amazon a while ago and I cannot praise it highly enough. Crystal clear sound quality and the luxury of having your i-pod collection in the car instead of trying to change a CD when stuck at a red light !!
Great product, thoroughly recommended.
DONT BUY July 29, 2008 It works for brief periods of up to a week then on any frequency there is very loud interference, way above the audible level of what you are listening too. The software often takes a while to pick up your request and cuts out leaving LOUD distortion in those moments. If you live in a city that has pirate radio in the vicinity you will be forever chasing a free space on your dial. I wonder if any of the alternatives would be better baring in mind the over crowing of the air waves. However, this is a truly substandard product and a stressful experience.
Just like all the other belkin stuff I have bought July 20, 2008 This product is next to useless. It is impossible to find a frequency on which it will work without constant outside interference. It is obviously underpowered, which may well be to comply with legal restrictions, but if that is the case, why bother making it. I also have a cabled belkin ipod adapter which works much better although even that is fitted with a poor quality 3.5mm jack socket so you often have to fiddle with the plug to get good sound. I've been dissapoointed with every belkin product I have bought.Belkin iPod TunebaseFM
Don't buy this very poorly made. June 7, 2008 Hi, I bought this Belkin Tunebase from Amazon and it snapped by the neck second time using it, asked Amazon for refund, which I didn't get surprise surprise. The Belkin is made of plastic and the neck bit simply isn't strong enough to carry an iPod's weight, it's also quite difficult to get in and especially out of your cigarette lighter, due to the rubber collar bit you have to stick into the lighter. All round poorly made and a cheap product not worth the money in my opinion.
