 Be sure it will work with your car radio March 4, 2008

I bought this for my BMW 5 series and it works a treat.
However, my wife's Honda Jazz would only play it for 12 seconds before it started to fade. I would then need to press a button on the device to get another 12 seconds of audio pleasure. I tried everything in the manual troubleshooting guide but no luck.

I bought this produce with high hopes as my friend got this model over a year ago and has had no problems with it. I've had my since 1st of Feb 08 and its broken. The sound was ok on it but when I tried to take it out of the power socket on my car dash it just feel apart, I have now asked for a replacement as not even 21 days old but am still waiting to see what happens.

I bought one of these for my Ipod video a few months ago and cannot fault it. The signal is strong and clear, particularly if you select a frequency that is not used in the UK (press 1 and 4 together to scroll between frequency ranges for other countries).
The fact that it charges the Ipod at the same time is also excellent.
Some of you may find that the arm is a little short (it is for my car), therefore I would recommend that you buy the double-socket device as it adds a couple of inches to the overall length and is still a snug fit.
Overall, for the price, an absolute bargain.

I bought this product for a lot more in a well known high st store but i suggest you don't even buy this product at this much reduced price. the sound quality was poor, the stand was inconvenient and got in the way of the gear stick, the signal quality is none existant and you can't even see what frequency you're on, subsiquently mine is now broken!!

I've had the Tunebase for two months or so, and cannot fault it. However, the initial set-up took a while, and I experienced many of the issues mentioned in other reviews. Once I found a decent channel there were no problems in sound quality, and it re-charges the Ipod in minutes. No complaints.
