5 out of 5 stars Very Good Reception   January 26, 2008
Niall (Derby)
I've had the Tunebase for two months or so, and cannot fault it. However, the initial set-up took a while, and I experienced many of the issues mentioned in other reviews. Once I found a decent channel there were no problems in sound quality, and it re-charges the Ipod in minutes. No complaints.

3 out of 5 stars not great for use in the city   January 24, 2008
NicH (London)
This doesn't seem to work too well in London probably due to the huge number of radio stations. I can't get rid of the crackling no matter what I try but it seems much better when driving out in the country.

1 out of 5 stars Piece of rubbish   January 20, 2008

This bit of kit lasted three car journeys before the tension went in the support. After trying to get it to click back in, the whole thing came apart as I twisted it. Very disappointed.

4 out of 5 stars Works Well confusing Set Up   January 19, 2008
M. Davies (Aberdare, Wales)
The initial set up was a bit difficult, the frequency on the Ipod Classic display did not change as you were tuning to a suitable frequency. I found that you had to count the frquecy changes yourself and refresh the ipod display to get the radio and Ipod in sinc.

Once set up I am very pleased with the clarity of the transmission from the stand to the Ipod. CDs in the car are now a thing of the past and as I do not want to pay a huge amount for a sterio with a MP3 player jack this is the perfect item for me.
