5 out of 5 stars Perfecto!   March 31, 2008

This is great buy. So simple to get working that the instructions fit on the small box at the back. When playing through my car stereo the volume has to be turned up to twice the normal volume but it was as clear as listenning to a cd or the radio once I did this. I first tried using it with the batteries but found the sound quality was very poor with loads of interference so I connected it directly to the cigarette lighter and this solved the sound quality. The sound quality through my house stereo was also badly affected when using the batteries but I get a poor radio reception at my house so I put it down to this. Wasnt planning on using it in the house anyway.
I noticed another reviewer had the opposite problem with his working better with batteries in his car so for the cost of 6 it's worth buying it and trying both options. I'm sure one of them will work perfectly.
I also found the same product, although with a slightly more cooler grey and black colour available in a well known high street store and it was selling for 18 so unless you really are put off by the product's colour I wouldnt fork out more money elsewhere.
Also, this product arrived the very next day and the seller came across very well in his two e-mails.

I bought something similar to this for myself and then bought one for my Dad and my Dad bought this one, through me, for a friend.
We've all been perfectly happy with this gadget for the price as it plays perfectly well in car, which is what we wanted it for.
'It does what it says on the tin'!

Easy to set up ... works happily in our kitchen and in the car. Reception usually ok . Basically it is amazing value

1 out of 5 stars So-so quality, didn't last   March 15, 2008

When we first got it, it worked OK for podcasts (i.e. speech only), but not particularly well for music.
When the battery was in, then every time when I came back into the car, it wouldn't power on. So I took the battery out and just used it with the cigarette lighter.
However, a couple of months on, and it's now not working at all.
It might be cheap, but I'd have expected a slightly better quality and longevity from it.

4 out of 5 stars FM Transmitter   March 12, 2008

I was looking for an FM transmitter to use with my MP3 player, when I came across this. Including P+P came to only 6, so I thought I'd give it a go. It works brilliantly- a really clear reception through the radio.

The actual thing itself looks a bit tacky, and it can't transmit nearly as far as other reviewers say it can, but overall, a great buy.
